St. Athan Airfield

St. Athan Airfield, originally built in 1936, is located near the village of St Athan in the Vale of Glamorgan, southern Wales.

The base has been home to the RAF No. 4 School of Technical Training throughout its life, as well as a major aircraft maintenance unit.

In 2019 St. Athan Airfield became a civilian airport after it was taken over by the Welsh Government and Cardiff Airport. It is assigned codes EGDX (ICAO) and DGX (IATA).

eCube Solutions Operations at the St. Athan Airfield & Castellon Airport in Spain

eCube Solutions employs over 100 staff at the St. Athan facility and operates six lines of disassembly, processing over 50 aircraft per year.

Parking is available at St. Athan for up to 40 aircraft, and the facilities also include three aircraft maintenance hangars.

eCube Operations at the Castellon Airport

The company launched another facility in 2019, located at the Castellon Airport in Spain. The location has excellent infrastructure and environment for the purposes of parking and storage of aircraft, and substantial opportunity for further development. In Castellon, parking is available for approximately 30 aircraft in a secure airside environment.
